In the well-known ‘dementia friendly’ Val Pellice (Italy), EFID hosted the conference “Valuing the expertise of people living with dementia in the community”. The workshop “Valuing the expertise of people living with dementia” took place ahead of the Awards Ceremony in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 22-23 January 2018. The EFID workshop 'Exchange of practice and development of indicators to capture change' draws from the interest shown by participants in the Dublin workshop 2015, to explore indicators to communicate the value of their projects. The discussion built on the pillars (1. raising awareness; 2. inclusion, involvement, participation; 3. building strategic networks) that emerged from the research commissioned by EFID and undertaken by the Mental Health Foundation. – read more
